This course provides an introduction to some of the key questions at the centre of political life. Students will be provided with a solid foundation in the study of the history of political thought through an examination of the theory behind four major sub-fields of the discipline of political science: Canadian politics, comparative politics, international relations, and Indigenous governance and politics. We will also concentrate on the development of skills in logical analysis, writing, and political argument necessary for upper-level courses in the discipline.
