History

The Atlantic Ocean served as an international highway. This highway facilitated in transporting goods, people, and ideas. Together we will travel through history and explore the transatlantic slave trade, experiences of the Indigenous, Indentured servants, and British Colonists. We will focus our study on the period between 1500-1800. Through this course, you can expect to become more familiar with challenging the way in which history surrounding these themes has been written in the past.
