This class is a stand-alone class that also continues last semester’s introduction to the basics of philosophy. We focus on a range of thinkers from the early-Modern, René Descartes, to the contemporary thinker, Jean-Paul Sartre. To help sharpen your critical-thinking skills, this course includes a section devoted to informal logic, an accessible and widely applicable form of logical analysis.
