TIMING

This class will meet remotely via Teams (a Team will be set up for the course). Our first meeting will take place tomorrow (Monday, June 30) at 9AM and we will meet on the following days:

 Thursday, July 3

Tuesday, July 8

Thursday, July 10

Tuesday, July 15

Thursday, July 17

These Teams meetings will include a virtual lecture that is recorded AND the recorded lectures will be posted to the class MOODLE page shortly after the lecture.  Note that as an upper year your course, you will be expected to have course readings complete prior to our lectures – the lectures will not summarize the articles, but rather, will focus on the theoretical arguments authors are making

ATTENDANCE

This is a semi-asynchronous class.  What this means is that there will be opportunity to attend live lectures (as discussed above) but that this is not necessary.  There are no attendance/participation grades.  So, if you are working or otherwise cannot attend the class, you will be able to access my lectures on Moodle

MS TEAMS

You should see a team called 25I2 CRIM 3843 A in your list of teams.  Please use this to access the class lectures you wish to attend on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

SYLLABUS

The syllabus and other course material will be provided on the class MOODLE page as needed.  PPT files for each lecture will also be uploaded.

EVALUATION

All evaluation details will be provided in the syllabus that will be available on Monday on MOODLE.  However, all evaluation is submitted on D2L and graded electronically.

 COURSE TEXT

There is no course text for this class.  Instead, we will cover a series of academic readings I have selected.  These readings will be made available on Moodle. I hope this provides you with all the information you need.  If not, feel free to reach out to me via email or talk to me at the beginning of class on MONDAY, JUNE 30
