Course Description: This course explores how social and digital media are transforming communications, public engagement, and public policy. Students will analyze how publics are built, mobilized, and influenced in the digital era, and how these dynamics shape policy decision-making, civic participation, and democratic life. Through case studies, strategy design, and applied projects, students will critically evaluate the promises and pitfalls of digital publics while developing the skills to engage communities ethically and effectively.
