This course is taught fully online. You will need to log in to Moodle several times each week to participate in the learning activities I have prepared for you.

Moodle

If you are new to Moodle, or if you find that some of the Moodle terminology is unfamiliar, try spending a few minutes in the self-directed Student Orientation to Moodle right here on STU's Moodle site. Feel free to self-enrol and work your way through the parts of the training that you feel would be helpful for you. Your STU Student Success Coach can also help you get used to using Moodle for your coursework:  https://stu.ca/learningstrategies/

If you have questions about using Moodle, please contact STU Information Technology (IT) support at helpdesk@stu.ca. They use a ticket system, so you'll get an email saying they've received your request and then another email from an IT staff member when they're ready to help you.

Panopto

STU has purchased a licence to use Panopto for video-recording. Panopto includes several features to enhance your viewing, including captions, a table of contents, and searchability. You as a student have access to Panopto to make videos (or narrated slideshows, screencasts, or whiteboard videos if you set up  a smartphone to "join" your project).

The Panopto website contains video tutorials and documentation to help you learn to use it. Panopto is embedded here in Moodle. You are also allowed to access 24/7 Panopto support if you have questions about viewing or creating Panopto content. Email support@panopto.com from your STU email address or visit https://support.panopto.com/s/
