The ability to do independent research and communicate findings to the academic or general audience is crucial in Sociology. This course will help students gain hands-on experience designing and conducting research that involves using primary and secondary data. Students will develop a practical understanding of the interrelationships between theory, research question(s), and methodology. This course will mainly focus on survey research.
