Introduction to sociology will begin with an examination of the importance of, and how to do, sociology. We will then look at the influences that culture and socialization have on us as individuals and social beings. We will also explore a series of issues such as media, religion, gender, racism, environment, ablism, ageing, urbanization, and globalization in regard to the influence these have on our lives.
