24/S2 ENVS 1023 A - Environmental Praxis I

This course serves as a practical introduction to the concept of environmental praxis, which involves reflecting upon and taking action to address environmental issues. Students will examine how global environmental problems, as discussed in ENVS 1013, manifest locally. Through a participatory action research model, students will collaboratively identify a local environmental issue, conduct research, develop an action plan, and implement their strategy. This hands-on approach empowers students to contribute to positive change in their community. Prerequisite: ENVS 1013
