Hi Everyone,

My name is Ashley Swaby.  I am a third year international student from Jamaica. 

I am majoring in Human Rights and Criminology.

I enjoy watching documentaries and scary movies. 

I decided to take this course because it gives me the opportunity to increase my knowledge about human rights issues while enjoying literary works from varying genres.

Hi Ashley,

Have you seen the Haunting of Hill House on Netflix? Episode 5 shook me. It is scary and awesome. It is like horror meets This is Us. I highly recommend. I like docu-series. There has to be more than one episode or I'm just not into it. lol I cannot get enough of true crime docu-series.

Hi Ashley,

What is your favourite genre of documentary? Personally I can't get enough of WWII and the war crime trials that proceeded.

Hi Ashely! I really envy the fact that you watch scary movies. I can never watch these because I get very vivid nightmares.
